The Secret's Out

It's official, we are moving back to Phoenix! I know you'll all miss the Barstow stories, but we are thrilled to be going back to our house, and being near friends and family again. I don't have any fun new pictures, but in view of the fact that this post's feature is moving back, I will reminisce.

And the real reason we are going home: Double sinks!!

Bet you are thrilled to be heading back to PHX. Obviously Beth is, too! Good Luck from NE cousin!
I do have to call you out on the "Thank You notes." You don't really think you can get away with that random/generic nonsense, do you? It's a family tradition!:)

BTW-we received one!

About the thank you thing, you did send a note silly monkey. I was going to put something in my post about how my sisters in law were great at that, but then I forgot so don't worry. I have no issues with your thank yous!

We're going to have to agree to disagree, ladies. I stand firm in my belief that a sincere, verbal thank you is better than a written note. Especially within a family!! Perhaps I feel that way because every time I write one I think the receiver is going to think I'm just doing it because it's socially acceptable and expected. There is no question, however, that note-writing people are better than non-note-writing people. I freely admit that, but I still don't know if I can convert!

I think I'm struggling with the social acceptablility of calling someone out publicly on their note-writing matters. Doesn't that negate the perceived superior decorum?
I mean, I'm all about getting a nice thank-you note in the mail because it's fun and all. But feeling obligated to do it sort of takes the love and joy out of it.
