Security Codes and Malfunctioning Neurons

Surely I'm not the only one that has noticed the change google made for typing in the "code" to leave a comment on a blog. Nobody else has mentioned it to me, but a few weeks ago I swear they started making those security codes much easier to type, by making them have the same structure as an actual word, albeit a made-up one. Am I imagining this?

You used to have to type things like jprylki......svziuyc......mqrstuyp.......To be honest it took me forever and I usually did it old school style with my one pointer finger. And now it's always something pronounceable like strogey..............harxle..........prazner........which is far easier to type in the more sophisticated way. Somebody please tell me I am not making this up.

I need some reassurance about my brain function. The other day at dinner there was an emtpy bowl and an empty cup on the table, one for milk to drink and the other for salsa. As you can see, when I picked up the milk carton my mind deceived me and I poured the milk in the wrong dish.

Maybe my subconscious wants a pet cat? Not likely.

It's ok Mandy...I blame the way I am on my children. They say after each child you loose more and more brain cells! I think if I would have had 1 more, I'd be sitting in a old folks home sucking jello through a straw right now...

Maybe you just eat too much cereal, so your natural reaction is to poor milk into a bowl :)

I totally know what your talking about when you said the google words are different. I agree with you. I used to have to do the secret code word like 10 times before I finally got it right and now I have to think about whether it's a real word or not. Hahaha about the milk. So know about that girlfriend...

yes, actually, you are right. I read an article the other day about how Google and some other word-verification-users are changing the words to be more associated with real words so there will be less mistakes. Pretty interesting that even though they aren't real words, our brains recognize them as though they could be. Although I still have trouble sometimes.
Thank you. The End.
